The one-two design changes for the iPhone 13. First, the cameras on the rear are now arranged diagonally instead of vertically. Secondly and more importantly, the notch is now 20% smaller while still delivering the same great TrueDepth camera system and Face ID you would expect since the iPhone X debuted. The button placement is slightly different on the iPhone 13 when compared to the primary iPhone 12. The power button is lower on the right side, and the same thing goes with the ringer switch and volume buttons on the left side. The design is pleasing but you may consider its Protective Case which is available at our store at a very affordable Price.
DISPLAY.
The iPhone 13 doesn’t boast the adaptive 120Hz refresh rate of the iPhone 13 Pro, but it’s still a stellar OLED panel. This Super Retina XDR display is now 28% brighter than the previous models. The iPhone 13 mini has a 2340×1080 resolution with 476 pixels per inch, while the iPhone 13 has a 2532×1170 resolution with 460 pixels per inch. Both iPhones feature 1200 nits max brightness for HDR, along with True Tone to match the color temperature of the display to the ambient light, Wide Color for rich, vivid hues, and Haptic Touch for feedback.
CAMERA.
The iPhone 13 has two 12-megapixel cameras. The wide camera is the main camera you’ll likely take most of your photos and videos with. Then there’s the ultra-wide camera that allows you to zoom out on an image or during a video without having to move physically. The ultra-wide camera offers 2x optical zoom out, while the main wide camera adds 5x digital zoom. Details are sharp and accurate, colors are rich without being oversaturated, focusing is fast and reliable, portrait mode is good enough to use day to day, and low light and night sight are both exceptional. The video quality is also great.
PERFORMANCE AND SOFTWARE.
The iPhone 13 might not be a massive update on the iPhone 12, but it represents a BIG update when compared to the iPhone 11. All of the iPhone 13 models use Apple’s new A15 chip, which offers performance and efficiency improvements over the A14 chip used in the iPhone 12. There are two performance cores and four efficiency cores, and the A15 chip in the iPhone 13 models is only surpassed by the version in the iPhone 13 Pro models. The A15 chip in the iPhone 13 and 13 mini features a 4-core GPU, which is one less core than is available in the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max. For this reason, the iPhone 13 Pro and the Pro Max offer the fastest GPU performance, but the standard iPhone 13 isn’t too far behind.
BATTERY.
Apple has improved battery life across the iPhone 13 lineup with the A15 chip and larger battery sizes. The iPhone 13i’s battery lasts for up to 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12 mini, and the iPhone’s battery lasts for up to 2.5 hours more than the iPhone 12. The iPhone 13 is equipped with a 3,227 mAh battery. It supports fast charging and can charge to 50 percent within 30 minutes using a Lightning to USB-C cable and a 20W power adapter. You can use the Mi 20W Charger (Type-C).
